Lead Toddler Teacher
Baldwin Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children ages 2–3 years.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets Maryland licensing regulations.
- Supervise children at all times and ensure their health and safety.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
- Observe and document children's growth and development.
- Maintain accurate classroom records and daily communication with families.
- Collaborate with the Director and teaching team to support program goals and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Meets Maryland Lead Teacher qualifications for a toddler classroom (or is eligible to qualify).
- Previous experience working with toddlers is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Passion for early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences.
