Childcare Assistant Group Supervisor
Job Description
The Assistant Group Supervisor helps in providing a safe, nurturing, and education environment for children. This role includes supervising children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining compliance with all PA and center policies.
Time-Slots Available:
- 7:00am-3:30pm
- 9:00am-5:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing daily curriculum and activities in alignment with the center's philosophy and state regulations.
- Supervise and interact with children to ensure safety and promote positive behavior.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
- Assist with meal and snacks preparation and clean-up.
- Support in transitioning children between activities and routines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Center Director.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CDA (preferred)
- ACT 168
- National Sex Offender Registry Clearance
- Child Abuse Clearance
- E PATCH Clearance
- DHS FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Health Assessment with TB Test
- Two written non-family references
- CPR and First-Aid Certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
