Warehouse Shipping Associate

Successful international distribution/manufacturing company is seeking a qualified Shipping and Receiving Associate to assist in warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing freight shipments
• Shipping and receiving, pick products from warehouse, packing orders daily with full understanding of box sizing and dimensional weight requirements
• Ensure that all received products are accounted for, and stocked in the most efficient picking location, and within the company’s allocated stocking timeframe
• Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types
• Enter inventory into computer
• Maintain clean shipping workstations and warehouse space

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of UPS, FedEx, USPS a huge plus
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and resolve problems independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50 LLB's
• Experience in shipping operations, including order picking,
• Excellent sense of time organization and sense of urgency, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
