HVAC Service Technician

Location: Ewing Township, NJ (and surrounding Mercer County area)

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25.00 – $42.00 / hour (Based on experience + performance bonuses/commissions)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems throughout Central New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain heat pumps, gas furnaces, AC units, boilers, and ductless mini-splits.
• Perform seasonal maintenance and system safety inspections.
• Explain diagnostic findings and repair options clearly to residential and commercial clients.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked company service vehicle.
• Participate in a rotating, paid on-call schedule for emergency services.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as an HVAC Service Technician.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (Required).
• Certifications: Valid EPA Universal Certification (Required). NATE certification or NJ Master HVACR license is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with electrical schematics, refrigerant charging, and advanced diagnostics.
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics or crawl spaces.
