Local sheet metal fabrication shop is looking for a Laser Operator to join their team!

1st shift hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Pay: between $20-23/hour depending on experience

JOB DUTIES:

-Setting up parameters and operating laser cutting machine

-Loading metal materials into machine

-Cutting and shaping of various metal materials

-Performing basic maintenance like changing lenses

-Reading micrometers and calipers to adjust machine parameters

-Loading cutting programs

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have 2 or more years of laser cutting machine experience

-Ability to read micrometers and calipers

-Ability to identify different materials

-Ability to operate a tow motor/forklift

-Programming experience preferred

-Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems preferred
