Grocery Merchandiser

The H.T. Hackney Co., a privately owned, broad-line convenience store distributor with over 134 years of service, is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join the Sales team as a Merchandiser in the Middle Tennessee area. The ideal candidate will be skilled at identifying and addressing customer needs through problem-solving and teamwork with fellow merchandisers.

JOB DUTIES: What exactly will I be doing?

Grocery Merchandisers will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:

• Merchandising of products by provided planograms
• Adjusting store layouts to promote optimal traffic flow
• Tagging shelves for ordering and merchandising
• Create and maintain planograms digitally
• Participate in monthly internal sales meetings
• Ineract with customers to ensure their needs are met

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday.
• Approximately 42-45 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in related role/industry-1 year Merchandising (Preferred)
• Ability to work productively within a team and remote environments
• High level time management & organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel (25%)
• Comfortable in a client facing role
• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Valid driver's license & demonstrated safe driving history
• Dependable, punctual and work as scheduled---Good attendance is required
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
• Must be 18+ for consideration
