Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Details:

• Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)– Mobile Point of Care Lab
• Location: San Leandro, CA
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Pay: $26.00 – $32.00/hour (Based on experience) + Benefits
• Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

*Important*: Candidates must report to facility location to pick up and return the mobile laboratory van each shift.

Position Summary

We are hiring a California-licensed LVN / LPN to support mobile point-of-care laboratory services in post-acute care settings. This position combines patient specimen collection, waived laboratory testing, documentation, and quality assurance in a fast-paced mobile environment.

-> Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture and capillary collection
• Perform waived point-of-care laboratory tests
• Enter patient information and test results into the laboratory system
• Monitor quality control and report any testing issues
• Maintain accurate records and specimen integrity
• Support STAT testing turnaround goals
• Assist with supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance
• Drive and operate the mobile lab van as needed

-> Requirements

• Active California LVN license (required)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Familiarity with laboratory processes and clinical workflow
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
