If coaching people, optimizing flow, and solving problems under pressure energize you, this Production Floor Leader role is your arena. You’ll guide a second-shift crew to meet plan, uphold safety and quality, and maintain a disciplined 6S culture.

You’ll take point on
  • Delivering daily production targets with clear priorities and communication.
  • Mentoring and developing associates; ensuring training sticks.
  • Watching the process end-to-end and correcting drift to standard.
  • Confirming PMs are completed correctly; signing off PMs, First Piece tags, PDS, and Sintering Conditions sheets.
  • Performing daily quality verifications and auditing operator checks.
  • Driving safety improvements and assisting with quality, safety, setup, and automation issues.
  • Hosting customer visits and supporting 6S audits and gemba walks.
  • Investigating internal/external rejections and leading root cause and countermeasure actions.
  • Ensuring policies, procedures, and work rules are consistently followed.
  • Readying the area for quality, safety, and environmental audits.
  • Completing required reports and interdepartmental approvals.
Must-haves
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership and scheduling capability.
  • Strong organization and project management habits.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Analytical problem solver who protects confidentiality.
Nice-to-have
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field.
Conditions you’re comfortable with
  • Work primarily on the manufacturing floor.
  • High temperatures up to 115°ree;, loud noise, and dirty conditions for long periods.
  • Standing and walking for extended times; lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
Your leadership scope
  • Direct all full-time and temporary associates on the shift.
  • Execute supervisory duties per company policy and applicable federal and state laws.
Schedule
  • Second shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm.
