VP of Sales
Job Description
New York City, NY (7 World Trade Center) · On-site (5 days/week) · Full-time Compensation: $250,000–$350,000 base ($400,000–$500,000 OTE, 50/50) + $85,000–$115,000 equity
About the CompanyOur client builds an AI-native ERP that lets accounting teams automate away manual data-entry work. It targets one of the largest fintech markets in the world — ERP, $220B+ annually — which has seen no meaningful new entrant in 30+ years while tens of thousands of companies still run 1990s on-premise systems. Customers today range from $5M-ARR businesses to NYSE-listed companies, and the company has raised substantially in the ~18 months since launch.
Founded 2024 · 51–200 people (Series A) · Industry: FinTech / AI-native ERP
The RoleBuild and lead the revenue engine: a hands-on, strategic player-coach seat that closes high-value deals while hiring, coaching, and scaling the sales team as the company expands into multiple markets. An intense, full-ownership role — the expectation is to raise the bar, not maintain an existing function.

- Prior 0-to-1 startup experience
- ERP, accounting, or financial-systems product experience
- A mid-market focus, not enterprise-only
- A hands-on player-coach
- On-site in NYC five days a week (7 World Trade Center)
- Prior VP or Director of Sales at a high-growth fintech, ERP, or accounting-adjacent startup, growing team and revenue from single digits to $15–25M+ ARR
- A CPA, Big 4 audit, or accounting undergraduate background that pivoted into B2B SaaS sales

- Category timing: a $220B+ market with no serious new entrant in 30+ years and an AI-native product already trusted by companies from $5M ARR up to NYSE-listed
- Traction and backing: raised substantially in ~18 months, with a team drawn from leading tech and accounting-software companies
- Founder-facing ownership: build the revenue engine from the ground up and scale the team (roughly 5 AEs today to 15+ over the coming year)
- Comp and upside: $400K–$500K OTE (50/50), equity, full benefits, and relocation support
- Location — New York City, NY (7 World Trade Center)
- Work policy — On-site, 5 days/week
- Compensation — $250,000–$350,000 base ($400,000–$500,000 OTE, 50/50) + $85,000–$115,000 equity
