Our leadership believes in supporting employees, listening to their input, and maintaining high standards without sacrificing teamwork or customer care.What We Offer$35-$48/hour depending on experienceOvertime opportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)80 hours of PTO after one year7 paid holidaysStable, year-round workOpportunities for continued professional and leadership growthWhat You'll Be Responsible ForLead residential HVAC installation projects from job-site arrival through system start-upInstall furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, duct systems, and related residential equipmentReview job information, equipment requirements, and installation plans before beginning workCoordinate daily responsibilities with installers, helpers, and apprenticesProvide clear direction, hands-on training, and constructive feedback to less-experienced team membersEnsure installations meet manufacturer specifications, company standards, and applicable code requirementsComplete system start-ups, testing, commissioning, and quality-control inspectionsIdentify installation concerns and communicate needed adjustments before they delay the projectKeep homeowners informed throughout the installation processMaintain clean, organized, and safe job sitesAccurately document completed work, materials, and job detailsCommunicate effectively with office staff, management, and other departments to keep projects on scheduleRepresent Hartzell professionally in customers' homesWhat We're Looking ForStrong residential HVAC installation experiencePrevious experience leading installation projects or directing other installersThorough knowledge of residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and system start-up proceduresAbility to read installation instructions, job specifications, and equipment requirementsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to quality workmanship and completing jobs correctly the first timeProfessional communication and customer service skillsAbility to train, guide, and hold team members accountableDependable, organized, and team-oriented approachAbility to work in attics, crawl spaces, and changing weather conditionsEPA Certification requiredWhy Hartzell?At Hartzell, your experience and leadership will have a visible impact.
