8th Grade Volleyball Head Coach

Job Description

We are looking for someone that has leadership abilities and is willing to work with the philosophy of the volleyball program.

Reports to

%CF; Varsity Girls’ Head Coach

%CF; Director of Athletics with input from Assistant Director of Athletics

Responsibilities

%CF; Regular communication with the Varsity Head Coach, participating athletes and families

%CF; Student Mentoring: spiritual development and athletic skill development

%CF; Conduct organized, structured practices with practice plans

%CF; Program Organization: roster, uniform and equipment inventory, organize practice instruction,

supervision of athletes, etc.

%CF; Program Growth: Interaction with younger program coaches to help set the philosophy of the

school

%CF; Coaching Administration: pre- and post-season meetings with the Varsity Head Coach, parent

meeting, CPR certified, MHSAA Online Coaches Meeting, MHSAA CAP Meeting

%CF; MIVCA Membership

%CF; Attend professional development for self-improvement

Minimum Qualifications

%CF; High School diploma

%CF; Volleyball coaching experience

%CF; Must be organized and able to work independently with professional attention to detail.

%CF; Support the mission, philosophy, statement of faith, and core values of Oakland Christian

School.

%CF; Give testimony regarding your faith in Jesus Christ and be an active member of a Christian bible-based local church.
