Diesel Technician

HiFyve is hiring a Machinery Technician in the Heavy Equipment Industry across multiple locations!

Salary: $35.00 – $43.00/hr

Location: Onsite

Schedule: Full-time, 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance on Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar construction equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems with limited supervision
• Disassemble and reassemble components, engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems according to specs
• Document inspections, diagnostics, and completed repairs in compliance with Foley procedures
• Assist with parts research and ordering; communicate directly with parts department
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces in compliance with contamination control and HAZMAT safety standards
• Adapt to new technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques as needed
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly secured at the end of shift

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with Cat and non-Cat construction equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting ability
• Computer literacy required; familiarity with SIS Web and ET is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and support a high-performing service team
• Committed to safety, accuracy, and continuous learning
