New Job Opportunity for Warehouse Lead

Location: Phillipsburg NJ

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Helps coordinate & direct warehouse staff’s daily assignments.
• Moves raw materials to the production floor.
• Utilizes daily production sheets and inventory records to ensure necessary raw materials are available.
• Wraps and straps finished products from the production floor as required. Makes sure that packing is uniform and meets company standards.
• Utilizes material moving equipment to load and off-load trucks as needed.
• Ensures paperwork is complete and physically checks for defects or missing products.
• Removes scrap materials from production floor and dumps the material into the proper roll-off container.
• Drains excess oil from scrap bins as needed into proper receptacle.
• Dumps garbage, sweeps floor and cleans oil spills off of the floor.
• Ensures the proper and safe storage of materials by storing chemicals, oils, products, and waste materials, as instructed by the Safety Officer.
• Updates the hazardous waste log daily.
• Updates inventory records in an accurate manner and will handle making any inventory adjustments that need to be completed.
• Inspects moving equipment on a daily basis (i.e. lift truck)
• Operates material moving equipment in a safe manner as instructed by the Safety Officer. Exercises control of the lift trucks and utilizes proper stacking techniques.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Skills/Licensure: Forklift training (given on the job,) English and Math
• Physical Demands: Lifting up to 40 lbs., standing, walking, leaning over, pushing and pulling.
• Equipment: Forklift, Electric Pallet Truck, manual hand truck, Stretch
