Job Summary

Friendly Dental Group is seeking a qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our established, referral-driven dental group in the Charlotte, NC area. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for a high-volume surgical environment, modern facilities, experienced clinical support, and strong long-term earning potential within a dentist-owned organization.

Our oral surgery department is supported by a large internal referral network, modern technology, and state-of-the-art surgical facilities with general anesthesia capabilities.

What You’ll Do


  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop appropriate oral surgery treatment plans
  • Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, and related surgical services
  • Provide safe, high-quality perioperative and post-operative patient care
  • Administer and/or oversee anesthesia services in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical standards
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA requirements
  • Utilize WinOMS software for patient records and case management
  • Collaborate with general dentists, specialists, clinical support teams, and office leadership
  • Educate patients on treatment recommendations, post-operative care, and follow-up expectations
  • Support efficient patient flow in a high-volume, team-based practice setting

Qualifications


  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active dental license in North Carolina, or ability to obtain licensure
  • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred
  • Experience with extractions, implants, IV sedation/general anesthesia, and surgical procedures
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, referral-based environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
