Physician-Assistant needed for PRN coverage to Urgent Care clinic in New York, NY (LOCUM)

HealthPlus Staffing is assisting an Urgent Care clinic in NYC on their search for a Physician-Assistant to provide locum coverage on a PRN basis. Our client has a State of the Art facility, and is looking for someone who can work weekend shifts, as needed. Find more information below:

• Preferred schedule: 9am-5pm, combination of weekends and weekdays.

• Background and Certifications required. NY state PA certificate

• What procedures will candidate perform? laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, suture removal,

• What patient population do you typically serve? Age 1 year old to 100 year old

• Is there call? If yes, what is call schedule? No

• Is there support staff on site? If yes, how many? One PCA, one MA

• What is the average patient volume? 2-2.5 patients per hour

• What is the EMR system? eClinical Work

• How long is credentialing? Can physician start before credentialing is completed? Credentialing takes one month. Provider can start before credentialing is completed.
