Position Overview


We’re hiring an Assistant Teacher for our Infant/Toddler program. You’ll support a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment using TLE’s L.E.A.P.® Curriculum and positive guidance practices.

Pay & Schedule

• $15.50–$18.50/hr (based on experience & credentials)
  
  
• Full‑time: Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shifts between 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
  
  
• Part‑time: Flexible shifts available
  
  

Responsibilities

• Classroom safety and active supervision
  
  
• Implement L.E.A.P.® Curriculum through play‑based learning
  
  
• Daily care routines (diapering, meals, rest time)
  
  
• Family communication via apps and conversations
  
  
• Positive guidance and emotional support
  
  
• Team collaboration with center staff
  
  

Qualifications


Required:

• High school diploma/GED
  
  
• 6+ months childcare experience
  
  
• Meets Michigan Licensing requirements
  
  

Preferred:

• ECE or related degree
  
  
• 1+ year experience in a licensed program
