Diesel Mechanic: Full-Time ($25-35/hr)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy-duty diesel engines, specifically Cummins engines and diesel emissions (DEF) systems. The ideal candidate is a dependable, self-motivated professional with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related components
• Perform troubleshooting on engine, electrical, and emissions systems
• Service and repair DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) and aftertreatment systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Accurately document work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (journeyman level preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Cummins engines and diesel systems
• Experience working with DEF and emissions systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, if applicable)

Preferred (not required):

• OEM or ASE certifications
• Experience with diagnostic software and tools
