Seasonal Northern Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

A local non-profit is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Northern Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our agency. The crew leader will assist the Landscape Maintenance Manager and the Assistant Landscape Maintenance Manager in everyday operations of the Northern Landscape Maintenance Crew. NORTHERN LAWN CREW LEADER DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Ensure all worked is performed in the Statement of Work listed under Winter Parking Lot & Ramp Maintenance/Grounds MaintenanceWork at different job locations with the landscape crews performing the grounds maintenance Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance to lawn equipmentAbility to operate all equipment necessary to perform required servicesEquipment used: zero turn mowers, trim mowers, string trimmers, handheld and backpack blowers, power pruners, chain saw, and other misc. tools as requiredTrain new employees in the safe operation of equipment used to perform required servicesSubmit required reports - monthly expense reports, time sheets, etc.Report any concerns or personnel issueQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GEDTechnical Training/College Degree (plus)Landscape/Mechanical BackgroundLeadership QualitiesCapable of lifting up to 50lbsCapable of repetitive pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, kneeling, bending and walkingAble to pass background checkValid driver's license with proof of insuranceClean driving record to be to operate agency vehicleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detail**Individuals with disabilities and veterans encourage to apply**For more information, please contact Claude at (724) 815-9823 M-F 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
