HiFyve is hiring a 1st Shift Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility!
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000/year
Shift Options:
1st Shift: Full-time day shift schedule
Location: Little Canada, MN 55126
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support production team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Assign work, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Train and onboard new employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop employee growth plans.
- Partner with Maintenance to coordinate equipment startup, shutdown, and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with Scheduling to ensure materials and production needs are met.
- Work closely with Human Resources to address employee questions, performance concerns, and workplace issues.
- Maintain accurate production records, employee documentation, and payroll-related information.
- Investigate and document workplace incidents and serve as a first responder for safety events.
- Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Ensure smooth communication and transition between shifts.
- Step into production roles when needed to support business operations.
- Monitor production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Identify issues and communicate concerns to appropriate team members.
- Maintain a positive and productive manufacturing environment.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Experience with employee training and performance management.
- Plastics manufacturing or recycled materials experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Leadership, Production Control, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Frequent movement around the production floor to monitor operations and support employees.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and continuous production activity.
- Ability to safely interact with production equipment and employees.
- Ability to assist with production tasks when needed.
- Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work a consistent 1st shift schedule.
