As we expand our team at this location, you will eventually lead a dedicated group to execute key functions and achieve departmental goals. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the organization of the facility, managing inventory effectively, maintaining equipment in optimal condition, and ensuring a safe working environment in compliance with all OSHA regulations. Additionally, this position will require driving both a delivery truck and a forklift. You'll start enjoying benefits as soon as the first of the month following 30 days of employment!Benefits package: Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA & FSA401(k) eligibility the first of the month following 90 days of employment with employer match & Profit Sharing after one full year of employmentAccrue 2+ weeks of PTO in the first year of employment and paid holidaysEmployer paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityEmployee DiscountsEducational Assistance ProgramPrimary ResponsibilitiesTeam leadership & workforce management: Hires, trains, schedules, and oversees warehouse staff, delegates daily workflow and assignments, resolves conflicts, and keeps the team informed of policies and objectives.Warehouse & inventory operations: Directs receiving, stocking, and storage of items; manages inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and discrepancy resolution; ensures equipment is available and in working order.Delivery & logistics oversight: Oversees transportation and delivery teams to ensure complete, accurate, on-time deliveries via efficient routing, and verifies outgoing shipments meet quality and documentation standards.Customer service & interdepartmental relations: Answers customer questions, handles and escalates complaints, and enforces company policy on service, shipping, and receiving while interfacing productively across branches and departments.Safety & continuous improvement: Promotes safety awareness and leads daily equipment safety checks, drives a positive team culture aligned with company values, and identifies and implements process improvements.QualificationsThe Warehouse Lead will have 1 to 2 years of industry experience, including leading a team in a warehouse environment, along with a High School diploma or GED. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to lead and motivate a team, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
