Mechanical Construction Technician

Sentry is looking for team members to join our growing crew. We’re seeking hardworking, mechanically minded individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and seeing projects completed from start to finish.

Our crews work on a variety of industrial and agricultural projects including:

• Steel buildings
• Grain systems
• Ethanol plant shutdowns
• Equipment installation & maintenance
• Structural steel and facility upgrades

No two days are the same, and most work is local or regional.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial and agricultural equipment
• Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and equipment
• Assist with welding, fabrication, and steel erection
• Read tape measures, layouts, and blueprints
• Work safely and efficiently with a crew
• Help keep jobsites, trucks, and equipment clean and organized

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic
• Construction, welding, fabrication, ag, or industrial experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding environments
• Valid driver’s license preferred
