Responsibilities
This position is responsible to understand, comprehend and maintain with all laws and regulations such as TILA-RESPA. A Closing Coordinator must be proficient in all loan products offered and have the ability to prepare closing packages for all mortgage products offered.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze information in Encompass to create an electronic Loan File for all Mortgage products offered by consumer real estate loan products
- Prepare and issue all required Closing documents in compliance with various regulations
- Participate in writing procedures
- Coordinate with lenders/attorneys to complete accurate documents; use of external site to assist with information needed
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
Ancillary Duties:
- Cooperate with other members of department to achieve department goals
- Cooperate with employees of other departments to provide quality service, solve problems and achieve bank goals
Qualifications
Education, Training and Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates Degree or banking experience preferred
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and proven organizational and good mathematical skills
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and work effectively under time constraints
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Research and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to consistently demonstrate the Company’s core values; integrity, teamwork, excellence and humility
Experience:
- Two (2) years of office experience preferred
