Overview Mavin Healthcare Superintendents partner with a designated Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise new construction and remodeling of existing healthcare buildings. They lead and oversee subcontractors, foreman and craft workers during the construction phases for designated projects to ensure that corporate, client and project goals are accomplished on time and within budget parameters. Mavin Healthcare Superintendents lead project teams onsite to ensure that jobs maintain the highest levels of safety, security and quality resulting in satisfied employees, subcontractors and clients. Requirements:Minimum of 7 years construction experience with at least 3 years as a Healthcare Superintendent with both new and renovation construction projects. Capable of working in a campus environment and working in and around patient activity in an active hospital setting.Robust Knowledge of all phases of building construction, including work commonly performed by subcontractors including infection control measures (negative pressure setup, maintenance and monitoring)Ability to read blueprints and specifications and perform advanced layout including but not limited to building layout. Trust but verify construction design documents, equipment cut sheets etc. by validating, double checking and coordinating all existing conditions to facilitate a smooth construction process.Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skillsMust be a licensed driver with reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate projectsGeneral knowledge and ability to use small toolsBasic Knowledge of Different Contract TypesOSHA 30 CertificationSalaried Position Physical RequirementsFrequently stand and walk on construction sites for extended periods of time. Ability to traverse uneven terrain, mud, gravel, trenches, stairs, ladders, and other construction-related surfaces. Frequently move throughout active construction projects to inspect work, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety requirements. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb as necessary to perform site inspections and oversee operations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and exposure to typical construction-site conditions. Lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, on occasion, up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to maintain visual awareness of construction activities and recognize potential safety hazards. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone while working in a noisy construction environment.Willing to comply with healthcare system badging requirements which includes but is not limited to: Covid-19 Vaccine, Flu shot, MMR, Varicella and TB Test.
