Behavior Tech (BT) Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and help clients develop essential life skills. This position involves working in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and community spaces, where you will deliver evidence-based interventions, track client progress, and contribute to their overall success.
Behavior Tech (BT) Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address each client’s specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one support using ABA techniques such as discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management strategies.
• Collect and accurately record data on client progress and behaviors using provided tools.
• Assist clients in developing functional skills across key areas, including communication, social skills, self-care, and independent living.
• Promote a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages client participation and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review client progress and make necessary adjustments to the intervention strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing updates on progress and sharing important information.
• Take part in ongoing training and professional development to further your ABA knowledge and skills.
Behavior Tech (BT) Qualifications:
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement behavior plans, and accurately document data.
• Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to different settings, such as homes, schools, or community locations.
• Strong commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
