As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in delivering personalized behavioral health services, developing and implementing effective care plans, and supporting clients in achieving meaningful progress. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement behavioral therapy techniques rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and hygiene, to foster independence
• Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
• Support teaching sessions tailored to individual needs, utilizing evidence-based strategies for skill acquisition
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with each client's goals
• Provide patient care with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients
Requirements:
• Experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or special education is highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Strong skills in data collection, behavior management, and behavior intervention strategies
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to engage clients and their families effectively
• Ability to assist with ADLs and provide patient-centered care in a respectful manner
• Prior experience working within behavioral health or medical settings is advantageous
