We are looking for an experienced and dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, coordinating administrative tasks, and keeping office activity organized. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing attentive support to visitors and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests in a courteous manner, assist with check-in procedures, and guide them to the appropriate contacts or meeting spaces.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries by working with courier services and ensuring packages are tracked and routed accurately.
• Maintain visitor and call records, issue access badges or security passes, and support front desk documentation with accuracy and discretion.
• Oversee conference and boardroom calendars, confirm room readiness, and help ensure meeting equipment is available and functioning properly.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties such as typing documents, organizing files, photocopying materials, and preparing bound or mailed packets.
• Respond to routine information requests and provide general administrative assistance to support smooth day-to-day office operations.
• Handle front desk communications with care, including directing inquiries and escalating matters when needed.
• Preserve organized records and uphold confidentiality when managing sensitive information or office documents.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with visitors, clients, and staff.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks at once, stay organized, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer service mindset with solid interpersonal skills and a detail-oriented, approachable presence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with care.
