We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in California, Maryland. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing administrative tasks with accuracy, and providing dependable support across the office. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a well-organized workplace while interacting with visitors, staff, and delivery services throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests in a courteous manner, guide them to the appropriate contacts, and ensure a positive first impression of the office.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries by working with courier services and tracking packages as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor and call records, issue access badges or passes, and support basic front desk security procedures.
• Organize meeting room calendars, confirm room availability, and help keep conference room equipment ready for use.
• Handle clerical assignments such as typing documents, filing records, photocopying materials, and assembling printed packets.
• Prepare outgoing mailers and assist with routine administrative tasks that support smooth day-to-day office operations.
• Respond to general inquiries in person and by phone while directing requests to the appropriate team members.
• Provide additional office support as needed to help maintain an efficient and organized reception area.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while staying organized and meeting daily priorities.
• Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with visitors, couriers, and internal staff.
