We are more than a grooming salon—we provide daycare, boarding, training, and full-service pet care. We take pride in creating a safe, positive experience for every dog and pet parent who walks through our doors.

As a Groomer, your primary responsibility is ensuring every pet is safe, comfortable, and happy during their visit.
Daily responsibilities include:
Groom dogs while maintaining a calm, safe, and positive environment
Consult with clients to understand grooming goals and ensure expectations are met
Provide excellent customer service and build lasting relationships with pet parents
Answer phones, emails, and client messages
Schedule grooming appointments
Check pets in and out for grooming services
Maintain accurate communication regarding pet behavior, concerns, and special instructions
Clean and disinfect grooming areas after each pet and at the end of each day
Maintain and clean all equipment used throughout the grooming process
Work collaboratively with team members to create a smooth and efficient daily workflow
Groomers are expected to provide their own grooming tools.
The Dog House of L.C. & L., Inc. provides:
Shampoos and conditioners
Disinfectants and consumable grooming products
Dryers
Grooming tables
Tubs
Kennels
Additional large equipment needed for daily operations
Required:
Minimum 1 year of professional dog grooming experience
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred:
Minimum 1 year cat grooming experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Problem-solving ability
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure
