Job Summary:

Allure of Geneseo is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing team. As a member of our team, you will provide direct care to residents, ensuring services are delivered safely, respectfully, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Available Shifts:

  • Night Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (PRN)

Position Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Allure of Geneseo, you will provide direct care to residents, administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor resident conditions, and maintain accurate documentation of nursing care. You will also collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes, support resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life, and follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care according to resident care plans

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered

  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the physician or supervising nurse

  • Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care, treatments, and observations

  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes

  • Support resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life

  • Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA standards

  • Participate in in-services and continuing education

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Illinois RN or LPN license in good standing

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

  • Long-term care experience preferred, but not required

  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
