Tender Care Veterinary Center - Falcon is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our onsite team in.

Position Summary

The Registered Veterinary Technician will support the delivery of high-quality veterinary care by assisting the medical team during examinations, treatments, and procedures. This role is responsible for preparing patients and equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring a safe, compassionate experience for every animal and client.

You will be an important part of a collaborative clinic environment, using your technical skills and strong communication to help the hospital operate efficiently and maintain high standards of safety and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with patient examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety

  • Prepare treatment rooms, medications, instruments, and equipment; maintain appropriate sterilization and organization practices

  • Monitor patients during procedures as directed, providing appropriate support and reporting observations to the veterinary team

  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records and assist with administrative tasks related to patient care

  • Provide excellent client service by communicating clearly, answering routine questions, and supporting a calm, professional clinic experience

Required Qualifications
  • Credentialed as a Registered Veterinary Technician (or equivalent registration required for practice in the state of employment)

  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Falcon or Colorado Springs, CO, with a reliable schedule

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary clinical support practices and safety procedures

  • Experience assisting with common veterinary procedures and patient handling in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and team members

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a general practice or similar small animal clinic setting

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail

  • Familiarity with clinic workflow and documentation expectations for high-quality patient care

  • Comfort working collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and administrative staff

Compensation

Hourly rate starting at: $18.00
