AutoCAD / Revit Drafter - OR

Access Sciences Corporation is a nationwide professional services firm hiring an AutoCAD / Revit Drafter. You would work in a team-oriented, customer service focused environment. You have the opportunity to coordinate with different work groups, such as document control, construction, and records management. If you have experience building sheets, incorporating redlines, adding layers, colors, and text in drawings, you should apply. Ready? You must be able to pass a skills assessment of your AutoCAD and Revit skills to be successful in this role.Position Summary:Standardize, update, and maintain project models and integrate/transform into Master Models for all disciplines, while adhering to client standardsSupport multiple project teams across many geographies by fulfilling sheet and model requests to support ongoing construction or facility needsAnalyze legacy CAD files to map previous versions of CAD standards to current standardsCollaborate with co-workers to develop efficient quality work processes while following a structured processProvide timely communications to team leads, track and provide input data for metrics and key performance indicators, attend and actively participate in all progress checks/status meetings.Coach, quality check, peer review of work products done by new hires, or junior staff members as neededRequirements:3+ years of recent experience with AutoCAD tools, preferably working in the construction or manufacturing field maintaining construction models and plan sets2+ years of recent experience with Revit, preferably working in the construction or manufacturing industriesWorking knowledge of Microsoft ExcelThe ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:Ability to analyze inefficiencies and problems and contribute to the resolution Willingness to work independently with minimal supervisionEffective interpersonal verbal and written communication skills including conflict management techniques and team leadership skillsA team player attitude and willingness to work with cross-functional teams and contract support teamsAccess Sciences is an employee-owned consulting and managed services firm headquartered in Houston, Texas with a national reach.
