Assists with project documentation, contract administration, cost management, scheduling, procurement, and field operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.

Assists with project documentation, contract administration, cost management, scheduling, procurement, and field operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with the daily administration and coordination of construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain RFI’s, submittals, change orders, estimates, and other project documentation.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications and assist in resolving design conflicts.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Track project costs, quantities, budgets, and production information.
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Assist with erosion control inspections and environmental compliance.
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, drawings, inspections, testing documentation, and closeout information.
- Support implementation of company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific requirements.

- Maintain assigned equipment, project documentation, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Participate in required safety meetings and trainings.
- Assist with project planning, coordination, and administrative activities as needed.
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and/or night shifts may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting heavy civil construction projects preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts preferred.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, estimating, project documentation, and construction administration preferred.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Position must follow Morgan Corp.’s Fit for Duty Physical Program.
- Ability to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and/or night shifts as project schedules require.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, wind, and other environmental conditions common to heavy civil construction.
- Strong commitment to Morgan Corp.’s safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
