Special Education Teacher in Elk River, MN

Key Details:

• Full-time contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year
• Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Start date: August 25, 2026; End date: June 10, 2027
• Work with an elementary ABS caseload

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-aged students
• Expertise in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school professionals
• Organization, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
• Resume must be submitted with application

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to students on an ABS caseload
• Assess student needs, set goals, and track progress using data-driven approaches
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
