Treasury Consultant - Money Movement Operations

Our client is a foreign bank seeking an experienced banking operations professional with deep expertise in money movement operations and Federal Reserve account reconciliations. This consultant will provide subject matter expertise, assist in resolving complex reconciliation issues, and help drive process optimization and reengineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on daily Federal Reserve reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate and timely balancing of bank cash and settlement activity.
• Analyze and resolve complex reconciliation breaks, outstanding items, and money movement exceptions, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Advise on industry best practices, controls, and operational processes related to Fed account management, cash movement, and settlement operations.
• Lead or support process improvement and reengineering efforts to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and optimize the end-to-end Fed reconciliation framework.

• 5–10+ years of experience in banking operations, treasury operations, cash management, or money movement functions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Federal Reserve account reconciliations, including break investigation, exception management, and operational risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to diagnose operational issues, lead problem-solving efforts, and drive process transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of payment flows, settlement processes, and bank operational controls.
