Child Care Worker

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that encourage learning through play.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment. including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions.
• Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Must be able to pass a background check.

We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Daycare Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with young children, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.

The Worker is responsible for coordinating the curriculum (play based) and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
