We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:
- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets childcare standards
- Teachers must complete Bright from the Start training requirements.
- Prepare any necessary learning materials,
- First Aid CPR
- Must be able to pass background check (criminal History
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have TCC certification or CDA (Child Development Associate Credential.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Report and document behavioral incidents
- Health & safety training (often provided by the state
Qualifications:
- CDA or higher and state teaching certification
- Previous experience teaching
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
