Daycare Teacher Position
Visions of Victory Daycare
We are seeking caring, dependable, and energetic daycare teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children throughout the day
- Implement age-appropriate activities and routines
- Support the Abeka curriculum beginning at age two
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Assist with meals, rest periods, diapering, toileting, and personal care
- Complete attendance, classroom, and incident documentation
- Follow Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- Support the Christian mission of Visions of Victory Daycare
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Childcare or classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Ability to complete required background checks
- Ability to meet Virginia training requirements
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Dependability and consistent attendance
Schedule: Opening, daytime, and closing shifts may be available
