Director of Nursing
Job Description
The Director of Nursing leads and oversees nursing staff and operations of an Ambulatory Endoscopy and Surgical Centre to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient department functioning. This role involves expertise in AAAHC, State and federal compliance policies and procedures. State inspection. Strategic planning, policy development, budget management, and coordination across departments to support the facility's mission and growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure adherence to standards
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage department budget and resource allocation
- Ensure quality assurance and patient safety standards
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations
- Coordinate patient care across nursing teams
- Design and deliver staff training programs
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback
- Lead strategic planning initiatives for nursing services
- Collaborate with other departments for integrated care
- Project department growth and development needs
- AAAHC accreditation process
- State inspection
- Well versed in federal and state policies & procedures re: Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- Strategic growth and business expansion
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in nursing management
AGA a 20-year-old organization with 18 Physicians in Arizona. Excellent reputation.
Gastroenterologists interested in a locum/ part-time & full-time position are welcome to apply. This can be extended to a full-time position if interests evolve mutually over time.
