About the Role:
Join Kidz Kastle ELC Inc as an Infant-Toddler Teacher and make a positive impact on young lives! We are seeking passionate educators who are excited to nurture and develop the potential of our littlest learners in a warm and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers. Support and maintain active engagement with children at all times.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and progress via Brightwheel.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities to stimulate growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and needs via Brightwheel, in-person, parent conferences, etc.
- Provide photos and videos of classroom activities on Brightwheel.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration.
- All art and material must be up to date with current events.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Pediatric CPR and First Aid with EpiPen certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and stimulating learning environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Background check clearance as per state regulations.
- Ongoing training
