Regional Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver

The Regional Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting routine flatbed cargo primarily in the Southeast region. This role involves a combination of regional and long-distance travel, requiring independent work and the use of company-provided GPS and technology for route planning and navigation. The driver must ensure cargo is securely loaded and comply with all safety and regulatory standards throughout their routes.

Responsibilities

• Perform long-haul driving with a focus on regional routes in the Southeast
• Secure flatbed loads using proper cargo securement techniques
• Plan routes efficiently using company-provided GPS and technology
• Ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations
• Complete accurate log documentation and vehicle inspections

Required Qualifications

• Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Preferred minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience operating flatbed trucks
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance
• Proficient in route planning and navigation
• Strong cargo securement skills
• Effective time management and safety awareness
• Good communication skills
