Automation Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement PLC-based automation systems to improve productivity, quality, and system reliability.
• Collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
• Specify, program, and commission PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, and related control system hardware.
• Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and on-site support during startup and commissioning phases.
• Create and maintain clear, accurate documentation including control narratives, I/O lists, drawings, and software revisions in accordance with company standards.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies, industry standards, and best practices, and recommend solutions that add value to customer operations.
