Position Overview
We’re seeking a full-time Family Law Paralegal to support our high-volume Family Law practice. This is a leadership opportunity to oversee the Paralegal team members, team workflow, and case management. This is also a client-facing, detail-critical role responsible for ensuring our legal team is organized, proactive, and supported in every phase of the case lifecycle.
Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years of relevant experience and will be considered for top-tier compensation, up to $75,000 annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients—via phone, email, and in-person.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses.
- Support attorneys with trial preparation, filing, and scheduling.
- Manage case timelines and ensure all deadlines are tracked and met.
- Coordinate case-related logistics using our internal workflow management system.
- File documents electronically with Maryland and federal courts.
- Organize and maintain case files; assist with billing and administrative tasks as needed.
- Draft correspondence and legal memoranda as directed.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a paralegal, ideally with family law experience in Maryland.
- Experience with MDEC electronic filing system.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism, discretion, and a strong sense of client service.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required (Paralegal certificate preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal tech platforms.
- Familiarity with local Maryland court procedures and filing protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, up to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Location & Schedule
- Based in our Germantown, MD or Silver Spring, MD office
- Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM with flexibility for occasional extended hours
