Wanted: Full-time, on-site Paralegal for busy Downtown Detroit law firm that represents Fortune 500 and insurance companies throughout the State of Michigan. Duties: provide support to multiple attorneys that specialize in Catastrophic Personal Injury, Insurance Coverage, and Property Damage Civil Defense cases. Tasks include drafting and responding to written discovery; preparation of pleadings and motions; review and summarize medical records and insurance claim files; assistance with pre-trial and trial preparation, & time entry and billing.
This is a litigation-focused role for a paralegal interested in working closely with experienced attorneys, having direct involvement in day-to-day file progression, and case management from intake to resolution.
Qualifications: Organized and willing to follow an established claims management program. Salary: commensurate with experience, plus health insurance, IRA, paid vacation, and parking.
