Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Franklin & Prokopik (F&P) is recruiting for a full-time Workers’ Compensation Paralegal in our Baltimore office. We are looking for an individual that is service-oriented and has a sense of urgency and responsiveness, operates with integrity and honesty, displays a positive, constructive, “can do” attitude, works diligently and well under deadline pressure, with professionalism.

The essential functions of this position include:
• Support 2 attorneys
• Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of efficiently managing a high volume and time-sensitive workload.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Strict attention to detail.

Qualifications for Workers’ Compensation Paralegal:
• 1-3 years’ experience in the legal field.
• Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
• Working knowledge of management software systems.
• Experience with Webfile.
• Experience with PracticeMaster and NetDocs a Plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues.

Communication Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
• Superior listening, oral and written skills.
