Tax Manager CPA Firm (Certified Public Accounting)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, supervise staff, and provide strategic tax planning services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and review complex tax returns for:

   • Partnerships (1065)
   • S Corporations (1120-S)
   • Corporations (1120)
   • Trusts and estates
3. Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services
4. Research and resolve federal and state tax issues
5. Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and seniors
6. Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
7. Review work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
8. Coordinate and manage multiple engagements and deadlines
9. Assist partners with practice development and client growth initiatives
10. Stay current on tax laws and regulatory changesicy
