The Site Manager / Respiratory Therapist (RT) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned service locations, supervising field personnel, and ensuring the delivery of compliant, high-quality respiratory and oxygen services. This role combines leadership, administrative oversight, and hands-on clinical responsibilities, including patient equipment setup, servicing, and maintenance.

The Site Manager works closely with Eagle’s Operations leadership to ensure all contract, regulatory, and company standards are met while maintaining a strong, patient-focused culture.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision, leadership, and support to assigned field personnel, including Respiratory Therapists and Technicians
  • Monitor and evaluate staff workload, performance, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable contract requirements
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and corrective action processes for site staff
  • Ensure all patient visits and services are completed in accordance with contract requirements and Eagle standards
  • Perform home visits as required, including patient equipment setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing service support
  • Conduct equipment inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policy
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to patient care, equipment, expenses, and operational activities
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring proper levels of oxygen equipment, supplies, and warehouse organization
  • Ensure emergency service calls are responded to within required timeframes
  • Participate in on-call coverage per company and contract standards
  • Report and document incidents involving patients, caregivers, or company equipment promptly
  • Provide ongoing oversight of clinical services to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality patient care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and contract success


Required Education, Licensure, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Respiratory Therapy degree required
  • NBRC certification required
  • Active state Respiratory Therapist license (as applicable)
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated
  • Prior hospital or home care experience in direct patient care, including ventilator management
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and/or move 50–100 pounds regularly and up to 100–150 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting in patient homes and warehouse environments
