Medical Director - Correctional Medicine

Qualifications:

• Completion of ACGME or AMA approved residency – [REQUIRED], no exceptions
• Board Eligible/ Board Certified in appropriate specialty – [REQUIRED]
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in clinical medicine programs – [REQUIRED], no exceptions
• Texas Medical License (or willingness to obtain within 180 days) – [REQUIRED]
• At least one professional reference within 24 months - [REQUIRED]
• Strong leadership, communication, and physician collaboration skills – [REQUIRED]
• Clean malpractice and license history – [REQUIRED]
• Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate medical teams – [REQUIRED]
• Experience working in multidisciplinary healthcare environments – [REQUIRED]
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED] * no exemption
• Spanish proficiency – PREFERRED
• Experience in correctional health environment – PREFERRED
