We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a Hospital in Coos Bay, OR. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography examinations while delivering compassionate patient care and ensuring compliance with safety and imaging standards.

The ideal candidate has experience performing mammography procedures, maintains excellent patient communication skills, and collaborates effectively with radiologists and the healthcare team.

-> Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations.
• Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Explain imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff.
• Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures when applicable.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

-> Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) Certification.
• Current ARRT (M) Mammography Certification.
• Active Oregon Radiologic Technologist License.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of Mammography experience.

-> Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
• Image Wisely and Image Gently certifications.
