Job Title: ICU Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

Salary Range: $31.86 – $46.28/hr (Maximum range for 17+ years of experience)
Shift Differentials: +$4.50/hr (Nights) | +$1.50/hr (Weekends)

Available Shifts

• Days – Rotating weekends

• Nights – Rotating weekends

Sign-On Bonus

• Day Shift: $15,000

• Night Shift: $20,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable ICU Stepdown RN to provide high-quality care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent clinical assessments. This role involves independent clinical decision-making while collaborating with a supportive and highly engaged healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for stepdown patients requiring continuous monitoring

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately to clinical changes

• Manage treatment plans and interventions independently within scope of practice

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care ICU Stepdown RN experience required

  • Candidates with 3+ years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience will also be considered

• Active Florida RN license or approved Multistate/Compact RN license required

  • Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
