We are looking for a Trust Administrator to support trust and estate matters for a long-term contract opportunity in Princeton, New Jersey. This position is suited for an individual with strong attention to detail and experience handling estate administration, trust documentation, and grant-related matters across private, foundation, and government funding environments. The role requires sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate legal and administrative activities with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day trust and estate administration activities, ensuring records, filings, and related documentation are maintained accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and review materials related to wills, inheritance matters, probate processes, and estate settlements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Administer grant documentation and compliance support for foundation, private, and government-funded programs, including federal grant activity where applicable.
• Coordinate real estate transfer paperwork connected to estate and trust matters, helping ensure transactions are completed in accordance with legal requirements.
• Track deadlines, disbursements, tax-related items, and beneficiary communications to support efficient administration of trusts and estates.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of documents tied to gift tax considerations, asset distributions, and fiduciary reporting.
• Partner with legal, financial, and administrative contacts to resolve case issues, collect required information, and maintain consistent workflow progress.• 5+ years of experience in trust administration, estate administration, or a closely related legal support function.
• Working knowledge of estate law, probate and estate administration, and trusts and estates practices.
• Experience handling wills, inheritance matters, and estate planning documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with real estate transfers and private real estate matters as they relate to estates or trusts.
• Understanding of gift tax concepts and other administrative considerations associated with asset distribution.
• Exposure to grant management activities, including support for private, foundation, or federal grant processes, is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
